Ahmad Mushtaq:A poet in quest of civilization Traces

Abstract

Ahmad Mushtaq is a remarkable name in the tradition of modern Pakistani urdu ghazal.His creative sensibility is deeply engaged with cultural memory and civilizational heritage.His poetry reveals a constant search for historical consciousness,collective identity,and the symbolic remnants of tradition in the face of modernity.Ahmad Mushtaq constructs a poetic discourse by weaving together the classical references,cultural traits and existential concerns that not only preserves but also reinterprets the legacy of civilization.This study is an attempt to highlight how his work negotiates the tension between tradition and modern thought,thereby creating a meaningful dialogue between past and present.
