Abstract

Neelam Ahmed Bashir's stories are a reflection of the events, experiences and observations created by the social environment and social ups and downs around her. The difficulties, problems and suffering that women, especially, face as a result of social inequalities. Feminism is present in Neelam's stories as an intellectual angle. The way she has presented the individual aspects of a woman's experience and feelings in her stories regarding her feelings and qualities is unique and important in terms of subject matter and expression. Neelam has pointed out the biased attitudes in a male-dominated society from different angles. In the present era, the society that challenges women and the woman who proves her existence, the story of a woman created by a woman, has its own uniqueness and characteristic of feminine sensibility. We find the description of women and their gender issues frequently in her stories. Undoubtedly, she has effectively interpreted feminist thoughts and protests.
