Themes and Consequences of Intellectual and Moral Degradation on Social Media

Abstract

Reflection or contemplation is a mental process in which a person pushes aside all thoughts and ideas and delves into the depth of a single idea, point, or observation, maintaining focus on it in order to reach a conclusion. There are two aspects to contemplation: positive and negative. The literal meaning of pollution is to mix, blend, or coat, or to give something the color and form of another thing. In modern terminology, pollution refers to the inclusion of elements in the natural environment that cause negative and unpleasant changes. The primary cause of pollution is human intervention. In addition to material pollution, we can also include major habits, moral decline, and intellectual pollution. While our environment suffers from environmental pollution, around us, negative thinking, moral degradation, and major habits are contaminating our intellectual environment. In this article, by moral and intellectual pollution, I refer to the elements, phenomena, and outcomes found from thought to action, which have negatively contaminated our actions. Social media is currently accessible to everyone children, youth, and the elderly. What are they watching and learning? All of this is polluting their morals and thoughts, which is important."
