Abstract: In the Urdu critical tradition, comparative study, the analytical study of two or more artists and works of art is an important stage of understanding, which determines the ranks of literature, art and writers or fiction writers, highlighting their characteristics and the full extent of their effects. But analytical value. It is basically a critical method. It is called a study. This is a difficult and rigorous stage. That is why some critics consider comparative studies to be effective and supportive critical studies. A comparative study or analysis comparison always requires impartiality. In this ,if a comparative study and analysis is not carried out free from personal inclinations, trends and desires, then whatever opinions are formed and the results are derived , they are considered one-sided and lively , which makes the art of comparison and comparison difficult. The soul is wounded. The following principles are taken into consideration in comparative studies. 1. Artistic comparison 2. Intellectual comparison 3. Thematic comparison 4. Contemporary comparison. Identifying similarities in the process of comparative study and comparison allows us to organize and relate new concepts to existing knowledge. And by establishing differences or avoiding confusion or contamination in creating contradiction, one gets the power to distinguish the new concept from other similar concept. The condition of making comparisons or relationships fosters abstract thought. Comparisons are developed with in language and this aspect helps make comparisons possible. In this article, an analytical study of the prominent values of the art of Ashfaq ahmad and Bano qudsia has been presented. According to this , the themes of the legends of Ashfaq ahmad and Bano qudsia are unique , strange and interesting , and they are remarkable for the readers in terms of their significance and meaningfulness. It is clear from the research study that both Bano and Ashfaq have used the best modern techniques in Urdu literature to describe the various problems of society and human deing. Feelings and emotions have also been used in a logical and deductive way. In their fictions, the method of traditional style is also found . The material has been compiled in a reformist and ideological style , which is essential for the intellectual training , mental and emotional reformation of the reader.
