Abstract

Literary criticism is considered in itself as a literary creation. New trends in literary criticism has also elevated its structure in creative world and so has become a more demanding criticismship and vision and skills. Asif Farrukhi established his repute as a short story writer, as a translator and as a critic. As a critic he avoided following any set literary tradition. In this way he travels the way he created himself. He has both the courage to say and the words to conveying what he wants to say. He assessed the creations and piece of art from his own perspective, the way no other critic does the same in urdu spending commonly. His grips over the western literature exposure to the English literature stand him in good stead do his world more strongly and with bravery authenticity.
