Feminist Elements in the Novels of Deputy Nazeer Ahmed

Despite being an undeniable part of human civilization, women have historically been subjected to systematic marginalization and exploitation. The feminist movement, which promoted equal social rights for men and women, arose in response to this inequality. Like other facets of society, feminism had an impact on literature as well, resulting in a unique literary discourse that supported women's rights. In order to address women's social status and educational empowerment, Urdu literature; especially the writings of Deputy Nazeer Ahmed was essential. Nazeer Ahmed, the pioneer of Urdu novel, reflected the sociocultural conundrums of his era in his writings by addressing issues of female education, household duties, and social expectations. His books provide insight into early feminist ideas in Urdu literature by quietly drawing attention to the limitations placed on women and the importance of their social and intellectual growth. This study explores the feminist themes found in Nazeer Ahmed's books and looks at how his stories influenced the changing conversation about women's rights. In order to determine how much his writings support feminist principles and how much they influenced the development of modern views on gender equality in Urdu literature, this article will critically examine his literary contributions
