Abstract

Samina Raja was a renowned poet, editor, translator and prose writer. She has a prominent status in the list of feminist Urdu writers. She had written eleven poetic mile stones to announce herself as a modern romantic poet. She wrote beautiful flaps in the beginning of each poetic book. These flaps are introducing Samina Raja as a beautiful prose writer, which is another literary genre associated to her. Here we analyze her flaps in respect of current literary norms. Whether can we say a good prose writer along with her poetic status?
